Creating Custom Profiles

Creating custom Information Profiles allows Pro users to build personalized intelligence reports tailored to specific needs and interests.

  • Clear understanding of your intelligence needs
  1. Navigate to “Information Profiles” → “Create Profile”
  2. Enter descriptive profile name
  3. Outline the topic with targeted language this is the core high level instruction.
  4. Define scheduling of the profile
  5. (optional) Add additional Custom Instructions that may be relevant in research or framing. This could be encoding tribal knowledge, particularly perspective on framing the topic, etc
  6. (optional) Define Report Structure and provide a format you’d like the report to be in. Creating

Best Practices:

  • Use a bottom line up front structure fo reports to have high fidelity summarization and signal extraction
  • Mix broad and specific terms
  • Update quarterly based on changing interests and attention
  • Share with us what you like and don’t like
  • Day to day things may not be that different, so frequency may need to be less.

  1. Bottom Line Up Front (3-5 critical points)
  2. Key Developments by Topic
  3. Trend Analysis
  4. Source Attribution
  • Report Length: Concise (500 words) to Comprehensive (1250+ words)
  • Analysis Depth: Overview or detailed insights
  • Source Detail: Show/hide URLs and publication dates
